"Polar Vortex" Caused Porn Vortex, Apparently

That much hyped "polar vortex" cold snap that hit much of the nation last week was apparently very, very good for the porn industry.
Pornhub has a state by state
breakdown on how much traffic
increased to its porn sites during
last week's cold snap. (Click on image
to make it bigger, more readable)

See? There's a silver lining in everything.

According to the Washington Post and the on-line porn portal Pornhub, traffic to their sites increased by 5.2 percent during the peak of the cold snap on January 7 and 8.

Maine, inexplicably, led the charge with a 43.8 percent spike in on line porn viewing, according to Pornhub. You'd think they'd be used to the cold up there in Maine and not need to warm themselves up by watching some naked hotties on their computers.

Florida also saw a substantial increase in porn viewing, up 37 percent during the cold wave.

Since this is a Vermont-based,  Green Mountain Boys and Girls might wonder how much our porn viewing increased. Vermont was a little above average. We had a 9.5 percent increase in traffic to Pornhub sites.

You naughty Vermonters, you.
